Rule Number Three: Stay on topic. If someone posts something that spurs your imagination, contact them privately. Well written NPCs can be used for some great roleplaying but you need to work together and take it to an appropriate forum.
When posting your NPC, please follow this rough guideline.
First create a new thread for your NPC. The thread's title should be the NPC's name.
Next, link to a picture and give a one line synopsis identifying the character.
Next give a short In Character 'story' about the character. This could be some history or a description, or whatever.
Finally, brief Out Of Character information (prefixed with OOC:) can be listed. See Katrin Leos' story below for an example.
